svn - Limiting the memory consumption of tsvncache.exe in TortiseSVN? -

Do anyone know how to control the memory consumption of tsvncahce.exe used by TortiseSVN? It is constantly the largest consumer of memory on my machine ~ 180 MB on my Vista 64 machine It uses more RAM than VS2008, SQL Server and even my browser, which usually has 4-5 tabs open

It just does not seem normal I already drive and Any other advice from the gurus would be helpful if the folders have started to ignore which it does not need to be tracked, but it could actually change things.

It seems that you have already figured out how to configure the directory to ignore Tsvncache Maybe this is your best choice. You can use the same settings dialog to set or any status cache . Any of these settings will completely disable tsvncache.exe, but the overlay icons will only appear for the current visible folder, or not at all. For more information, click on the Help button on the dialog, which will take you to the icon overlay setting section of the help file, which tells settings in more detail.

In addition, when you change the overlay icon settings, you must either kill the tsvncache.exe process or logout the settings to take effect.
