c++ - Writing a Firefox Extension that uses XPCOM components? -

I'm trying to write a Firefox extension that writes Firefox's history in Windows system history, which should be useful for people. When working, IE and work to use Firefox.

It is easy to add pages to IE history (should do this). However, my experience with Firefox Extensions is limited to small Chrome hacks packed together in XPi.

From my initial reading, it appears that I have to create an XPCOM component that will put the URL in history, I'm not sure that this JavaScript can be used, and I can use XPOM components There is not much experience in typing extensions.

Could anyone be familiar with Firefox extension development? Please point to any tutorial about writing extensions that use XPCOM components, especially using those written C ++? Or are there open-source extensions that use components that I can see to learn more about it?

The best you can do this.
