VS 2008 SP1/SQL SERVER 2008 SP1/TFS setup PROBLEM! -
I have about to pull my hair out if I have to reset everything again!
If I install Visual Studio 2008 SP1, then TFS and when I try to install SQL Server 2008, I have an error message that is asking me to install SP1 of Visual Studio .
After seeing Instantly on Google and SO, I have not tagged TFS's mysterious problem as SP1, which is failing the establishment of SQLSER 2008.
So I uninstalled everything on my half day and then started installing all those apps. Now my boss is asking me to do some analysis and reporting, bilateral ... which requires new plug-in of SQL Server. You have estimated my problem: SP1 error is still remaining after a well established VS SP1 / SQL server / TFS.
Is anyone's solution?
Finaly have found me a solution ... to actually install TFS befor SQL Server 2008 (even one update) if you uninstall SQLSERVER Uninstall Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell Integrated Mode , this is the component that is included in Visual Studio but SP1 is not
Updating my SQL Server After I'm just installing the component O
