selenium - Access to file download dialog in Firefox -

Is there an API that can allow me to manipulate the file download dialog in Firefox? (I want to use the person who does something, since then does not start any one).

What I have to do, is to use this dialogue with Selenium (and whether the Selenium "privileged mode" is enough, there is nothing to use the Chrome interface which I certainly know about).

Not that I know but you can configure Firefox at a particular location. Your test could then check that the file actually arrived.
