How do I use a search box to filter NSOutlineView / NSTreeController? I know that there must be something with binding and an ingenious. But do not specify how can someone take me through the steps to filter the NSOtline Vis / NSTI Controller?

I do not think you can. NSArrayController allows you to give it a filter undoubtedly; NSTreeController does not offer you a suggestion.
