oauth - Using Twitter OpenAuth -

I am currently starting a project which will interact with Twitter through its OpenAuth system and I Was thinking about something. If a user agrees to access my site in my Twitter account, can I log in to my account even if they are not on my site? For example, can I get a job at night that can drag all users' tweets and information really without reaching my site? Thanks!
