.net - need help on ADO.net connection string -

I have to get data from a user site. If I work on my site, then I will remotely vpn and then using the username and password in my server.

I think the data should be obtained by accessing my server in my local machine where my work is not secure. / P>

Therefore, I thought about using Ironpython to obtain data from remote server, therefore, I have still been VPN from my domain, but when I connect ADO to my database If the .net connection was using the string, then it does not work.

Connection String: Data Source = xx.xx Xx.xx; Initial catalog =; User ID =; Password =;

And the error says: Failed to log in

OK, one thing is worth mentioning: when I provide a remote server, once I have a username and password When I log on to SQL Server, I do not have to give a username and password. This is Windows certified, so, in the above connection string, I have used the same user name and password that I would be using remoting Do the time I hope that I will remember what I can remember.

Appreciate Help !!!

Has the user given login capabilities in SQL?

If you want to use SQL 2005, then you go to Security-> Login

Double click on the user, and click on the status.

------ Edit - ---

Create a file on your desktop called test.Udl. Double click it.

Set up your connection until it does not work.

Look at UDL in Notepad, your connection is string. Although I think that you are included in the first part, which includes provider information.
