hex - In emacs, how to strip CR (^M) and leave LF (^J) characters? -

I'm trying to manually delete some special characters from a text file to use a hexel mode And it's not seeing how to delete anything in Hexal mode.

What exactly do I have to do to remove the carriage return and keep the linefeed character, is the correct method of doing this hexal mode?

There is no need for hexal-mode J ^ Save, kill buffer, and come back to the file so that the window shows the new file mode (Unix vs. DOS).
