windows - Vim: Change start up directory? -

When I start GVIm and start writing my short program then I would like to save the file to the desktop but it seems How will I go about changing it:

  C : \ User \ cc

Then I could just do it:

 : desktop \ my_program.py

Thank you

Think that you have windows In the icon / shortcut, starting with gvim (from which type of way you supply), you are completely free from the initial directory (by the fact that by editing the "initial directory" property of that window icon / shortcut This is GVIM: it will be from any other app!).
