Hudson git clone error -

I have created a freestyle software project in Hudson.

I want to clone a public GIT repository:

Create failed with error message:

User anonymous checkout: Work / C: \ Documents and Settings \ Administrator \. Hudson \ jobs start by \ water \ workspace - hudson.remoting.LocalChannel@1a1f370 final formation: # 4 Checkout: Vertical / C: \ Documents and Settings \ Administrator \ Khudson \ jobs \ Watir \ workspace - hudson.remoting.LocalChannel @ 1a1f370 cloning remote Git repository cloning stores original $ Jiaiti clone -o original git: //github.com/bret/watir.git "C: \ documents and Settings \ Administrator. I do not think the problem folder is in permissions because I have a Hudson job (with SVN repository) that works just fine.

I have tried to clone the repository. Command line from Hudson \ Jobs \ Waiter \ Workspace, and it works fine:

C: \ & gt; Git clone -o original git: //github.com/bret/watir.git "C: \ Documents and Settings \ Administrator \ .hudson \ Jobs \ Water \ Workspace" has started the empty git repository in C: / Doo comments And settings / administrator /. As far as I can tell, Hudson used the same executable or similar version as the command line does.

Command line:

  C: \ & gt; Git version git version 1.6.3.2.1299.gee46c

Hudson:

  user anonymous anonymous [workspace] $ cmd / c call C: \ Docume ~ 1 \ Administration or ~ 1 \ Local ~ 1 \ Temporary \ hudson9062544454093366628.bat C: \ Documents and Settings \ Administrator \ .hudson \ Jobs \ watir \ Workbench & gt; Git version Git version 1.6.3.2.1299.gee46c Ended: Success

In Web Search, I found only one page related to my error message (), and it says that the problem is the Git Path Not in.

Environment:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard Edition, Service Pack 2
  • Java 1.6.0_14
  • Hudson 1.316
  • Hudson GIT plugin 0.7.3
  • git 1.6.3.2.129 9 Gee46c

It looks like the post was correct. When I go, go to Git> GIT executable section, error is PATH does not have such an executable code (If Hudson takes seconds to display an error after the page is displayed.) Adding C: \ Program Files \ Git \ bin to the path and restarting Hudson has solved the problem.
